Maintenance Technician
About the Role We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facility, and production uptime within a high-volume precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery used in machining, plating, and finishing operations.
You will play a critical role in keeping production running efficiently by troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Responsibilities
· Perform routine maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment, including CNC machines, plating lines, and finishing systems
· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime
· Inspect machinery and identify potential issues before failures occur
· Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment as needed
· Maintain and repair pumps, piping systems, filters, and related production equipment
· Support maintenance of facility systems including electrical, plumbing, and compressed air systems
· Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of equipment
· Assist with fabrication, including basic welding and repair of fixtures or components
· Support tool and die repair or fabrication as needed
· Document maintenance activities and support continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent required; Trade or Technical School preferred
· 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
· Experience working with CNC machinery, plating or chemical processing equipment, or similar industrial systems
· Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
· Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, and industrial equipment
· Basic welding experience (MIG, TIG, or similar) preferred
· Exposure to tool and die repair or fabrication is a strong plus
· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift
· Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
· Comfortable working around machinery, chemicals, and industrial equipment
